FAMILY LAW DIVISION ANNOUNCES COURTROOM CHANGES AT THE COMPTON COURTHOUSE
The Family Law Division will implement the following changes to courtroom operations, effective May 8, 2023:
- Judge Christine Rodriguez Tyler is reassigned from Department 406, Edmund D. Edelman Children’s Courthouse, 201 Centre Plaza Drive, Monterey Park, to Department N at the Compton Courthouse, 200 W. Compton Blvd., Compton. Department N will re-open on May 8, 2023. A random selection of matters previously assigned to Departments 1 and M will be re-assigned to Judge Rodriguez Tyler for all purposes. Notices of case reassignment will be mailed to all affected litigants.
All matters currently calendared shall remain scheduled on the dates and times previously set, unless otherwise notified. Counsel and parties are instructed to identify the assigned judicial officer and department on the first page of all documents filed with the clerk, beneath the case number.
