First Legal University is one of the most important programs we have at First Legal. As both an online and in person education tool, our employees learn about the litigation process so that they can serve you better. We’ve partnered with industry leaders like Litmos and Dale Carnegie to assist with soft skills training while we continue to develop industry-specific training programs. Classes combine eLearning and live training courses to accommodate learners’ busy schedules.

Is everyone required to attend First Legal University?
Every new client-facing staff member moves through an onboarding process with a First Legal Certified Trainer who teaches, coaches, and tests new hires on File Thru Trial, specifics of each service line, and global functions such as accounting, customer service, and sales. Next, they attend in detail field training appropriate to their role. That step is followed by digital learning modules that are also completed as part of their training. The modules coupled with any physical training materials, remain accessible as references throughout their careers at First Legal.
Can I attend First Legal University?
One day! First Legal University works diligently to build modules for our clients that may help them better understand the changing landscape of litigation. We currently do offer MCLE programs that provide your firm with important and current information about issues such as eFiling and proper Subpoena preparation.
