LASC: FAMILY LAW JUDICIAL ASSIGNMENT CHANGE AT THE TORRANCE COURTHOUSE

On Dec. 16, 2024, the Family Law Division implemented the following change to courtroom operations at the Torrance Courthouse, located at 825 Maple Ave., Torrance:

• Judge Timothy M. Weiner is now assigned to Department L at the Torrance Courthouse. All matters previously assigned to Department L are now assigned to Judge Weiner for all purposes, unless otherwise notified.

All matters currently calendared shall remain scheduled on the dates and times previously set, unless otherwise notified. Counsel and parties are instructed to indicate the assigned judicial officer and department on the first page of all documents filed with the clerk to ensure proper departmental assignment, calendaring of hearings and document routing.
