SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT: EFILING FEE DEFICIENCY

Effective October 1, 2024, General Order 24-029 extends the provisions of Civil Code of Procedure section 411.20 to electronically submitted filings.

Under this order, if a complaint or other first filing is rejected due to an insufficient filing fee payment, the filing party has 20 calendar days from the mailing of the notice of deficiency to submit the required fees.

This order ensures that electronic filers receive the same grace period as paper filers, furthering our commitment to providing equal access to justice for all.

Please see the attached General Order GO 24-029 for more details.
