SAN DIEGO COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT: CIVIL DIVISION CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM TRANSITION
The case management system for Civil, Family, Juvenile Adoptions, Probate, Small Claims, and Traffic will be impacted during the changeover, and certain online systems will be unavailable from the close of business on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, until Monday, July 8, 2024.
The Civil Division of the San Diego Superior Court will transition from CCMS V-3 to the Odyssey case management system over the Independence Day holiday weekend. This will impact multiple case types, including Civil, Family, Juvenile Adoptions, Probate, Small Claims, and Traffic, and will require certain online systems to be unavailable after the close of business on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, until Monday, July 8, 2024.
Please see below for a list of the case types and online services that will be affected:
Civil
The following systems will not reflect updates made after the close of business on July 3, 2024, until July 8, 2024:
- Online Register of Actions (ROA)
- Online Case Search – Court Index
- E-Filing*
- ROA GOV
- Online Court Calendar
*Civil eFiling will remain available. Parties may submit filings through one of the court’s approved eFiling service providers, but eFiled documents will not be reflected on the Online Register of Actions until on or after July 8, 2024. E-filed documents will be processed in the order received, with the exception of Gun Violence Restraining Orders and other time-sensitive documents, which will be processed on an expedited basis.
The following systems will not be impacted and will remain available:
- Tentative Rulings
- Unlawful Detainer Exhibit Upload Application
- Media Access Portal for Unlimited Civil Complaints
The following system will be disabled after the close of business on July 3, 2024, and will be re-established as a new application, Motion and Reservation System (MARS), on July 8, 2024:
- Reserve a Civil Date (RACD)
Family
The following systems will not reflect updates made after the close of business on July 3, 2024, until July 8, 2024:
- Online Register of Actions (ROA)
- Online Case Search – Court Index
- E-Filing (Both Family and FSD)*
- Online Copy Requests
*Family eFiling will remain available. Parties may submit filings through one of the court’s approved eFiling service providers, but eFiled documents will not be reflected on the Online Register of Actions until on or after July 8, 2024. E-filed documents will be processed in the order received, with the exception of Domestic Violence Restraining Orders and other time-sensitive documents, which will be processed on an expedited basis.
Juvenile Adoptions
The following systems will not reflect updates made after the close of business on July 3, 2024, until July 8, 2024:
- Odyssey
*Filings will be accepted on Friday, July 5, 2024, but will not be processed until on or after July 8, 2024.
Probate
The following systems will not reflect updates made after the close of business on July 3, 2024, until July 8, 2024:
- Online Register of Actions (ROA)
- Online Case Search – Court Index
- E-Filing*
- ROA GOV
- Online Court Calendar
