VENTURA COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT: UPCOMING NON-HOLIDAY COURT CLOSURE

The Clerk’s Offices and most Courtrooms will be Closed on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 (Non-holiday Court Closure with Limited Services)*

Room 118 outside walk-up window at the Hall of Justice in Ventura will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for:

• Criminal/Traffic and Collection payments only.
• If you have a scheduled court appearance to determine if your matter is still on calendar or has been continued.
• If you have an Emergency Matter.

The Clerk’s Offices are closed and will have no in-person appointments. Emergency Requests for all Family or Civil Protective Orders can be electronically submitted to the court by email at: EmergencyRestrainingOrdersFamilyandCivil@ventura.courts.ca.gov or in person at the Room 118 outside walk-up window. Paperwork must be completed before submitting.

*A court closure day is NOT a judicial holiday for purposes of filing deadlines and other statutory deadlines are not extended. Documents may be submitted through U.S. mail, drop boxes located outside the Hall of Justice and Juvenile Courthouse or through eDelivery for Civil, Family & Probate. Documents placed in the drop boxes or submitted by eDelivery by 4:00 p.m., are deemed deposited for filing that same business day, but will not be processed until after the closure.
